These small cylinders are interesting to use with larger magnets. These small rods will align themselves with the magnetic field lines of larger magnets. The NM-D14-N52 neodymium cylinder magnets is made from super strong N52 NdFeB( Nd2Fe14B), coated with Nickel as neodymium magnets get oxidized easily.

This size is also available in grade N42 as part number NM-D14.
